American Chestnut Folk Art
Pete and Diane recycle antiquated American chestnut wood originally used in the construction of homes and barns. The antique wood is versatile, straight grained, lighter than oak, and is very resistant to decay. Each piece of wood is carefully selected to bring out the unique qualities of the chestnut grain. Together, they create original wood sculptures which become the master molds for the amazingly detailed, hand painted resin figures.
